Our aim is to provide all our customers with a level of support and service that is unequalled in the underfloor heating and plumbing industry, backed by a guarantee of total satisfaction.
These are our terms of business.
Normal delivery is 3-5 full working days (Monday to Friday) on standard items. Please Note: that certain products are "non-standard" and delivery times may exceed those stated. If you require an urgent delivery then it is advised that you contact us prior to ordering to check availability.
Customers are notified in advance of delivery dates for these items. When you place your order, we will notify you as to the date of the delivery via email. Please note that we cannot specify the time of delivery, just the date. Alternatively you may specify a date which is more suitable for you. Delivery dates are only approximate and therefore Flowmax (UK) Ltd accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of late or delayed deliveries.
Our team at Flowmax (UK) Ltd recommends that you do not arrange to have your items installed until they have been delivered and checked for any damages or faults. In the unlikely event that goods are received as damaged or parts missing, then Flowmax (UK) Ltd will rectify this as quickly as possible. Please note that all goods are packaged and sealed direct from manufacturer, therefore Flowmax (UK) Ltd will not be held responsible for any costs incurred if goods are received as damaged or parts missing.
Deliveries must be signed for. Therefore, please ensure that someone will be available at your delivery address to sign for and check the goods. Please note: Delivery of Heavy or Bulky items will generally require that the delivery agent is given assistance off loading items.
All deliveries must be checked on arrival, and any damages are to be reported within 2 working days of receipt of your order. Do not accept damaged goods. If unsure, sign the delivery document as "unchecked". In addition please do not install damaged goods as installation is acceptance that the product is in good condition.
We cannot offer refunds or accept returns on any special orders, or if sealed packages have been opened on sensitive electronic goods (i.e.: printed circuit boards - PCBs). If you are unsure as to what products are special order, please email or call to check, usually special orders are any products on extended lead times.
Should your required item not be in stock, we will back order for you. We will e-mail you with the proposed delivery date and should you rather not wait for delivery, you will have the option to cancel your order or part of it. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Accuracy of Information
Flowmax (UK) Ltd has taken the greatest care to ensure that the description, specifications and pricing of products listed on our site are an accurate representation of those supplied by the manufacturer, there are occasions where errors may occur or details may have subsequently changed.
If this does arise then Flowmax (UK) Ltd is not bound to honour any orders made relying on this information. In the event of a mistake you will be contacted with a full explanation and a corrected offer.
All products sold by Flowmax carry a full manufacturer's guarantee as stated on the products that we sell. Please note that the guarantee will not be valid if the product is not installed by a registered installer (where applicable). Advisory Tip: Flowmax (UK) Ltd strongly advises that only fully qualified plumbing and heating trades-people are employed to fit the products. We further recommend you check at least three references of any tradesperson you are considering. It is not usually necessary to engage a tradesperson until our goods have arrived and been checked.
Changed Your Mind?- Cancellations & Returns Policy
If you change your mind and wish to cancel your order prior to delivery, you may do so at any time. Cancellation of your order MUST be confirmed in writing. Once written confirmation is received, a full refund will be issued within 48 hours.
If you wish to return the goods, you must contact us directly. Under the UK's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your contract within 7 working days from the day after delivery. This is called a "7 Day Cooling Off Period". During this 7 day cooling off period, you have a duty of care for the goods; therefore it is advised that any goods you wish to return are kept in their original packaging to ensure they remain undamaged and in good condition. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to our suppliers. We kindly request that you notify us in writing prior to returning goods, and please be aware that any goods returned to our office without notification will be rejected. The return address will be specified to you prior to return, and therefore any goods returned to us in error, and not to the specified address will incur an additional carriage charge. Should returned goods arrive back to us in a damaged condition, the goods will be returned to you and you will be responsible for the total cost. Please note that this will not apply to any goods deemed Special Order.
If we are not notified of cancellations/returns within the 7 day cooling off period, then we reserve the right to apply an administration/re-stocking charge of between 15-25%. Please note that this will only be applied under extreme circumstances. In this case, you will be informed of the re-stocking charge prior to the return. If you cancel your contract within the 7 day cooling off period then no re-stocking/administration will apply.
